Le Fooding is celebrating their 15th year, and they are throwing a mega birthday bash – 3 days of food, music, chefs, and artists.
Renown chefs from Brooklyn, London, San Francisco & L.A. are flying in to join the Who’s-Who of Paris Chefs line-up for the grand occasion, and it’s safe to assume that the eating and merriment will be at an all-time high. It will be, as they say, off the heezy. No one says that.
Wait until you see the Saturday night line-up, you are going to flip your freakin’ lid, if you have any tastebuds in your mouth at all. It’s like South by Southwest and Coachella moved to Paris, married a James Beard Award, and converted to food festivals.
Important dates to pencil in:
May 6th – Packages (100 €) go on sale at 2pm Paris time: Includes entrance to la Veillée Foodstock Friday, 1 place for le Grand Fooding S. Pellegrino on Saturday, 1 place for the Pur Brunch at l’hôtel Amour Sunday, a 2015 Fooding Guide, and skip-the-line pass for priority entrance (no waiting in line with the plebes)
May 13th – A la carte tickets for each event go on sale at 2pm
June 5th, 6th and 7th – Birthday Bash central
Here’s all the juicy details on the 3-day mega party line-up from Le Fooding:
Born on the outskirts of gastronomical conformism, Le Fooding has never ceased to accompany, encourage and honor the most liberated culinary initiatives, by associating them with music, writing, design and graphic art.
In order to celebrate its first fifteen years, Le Fooding has therefore chosen to pay homage to the kitchens, the movers & shakers, and the emblematic artists of ex underdog-neighborhoods, which have become the international capitals of cool.
On June 5th, 6th and 7th, the best faubourgeois chefs, from the world’s most creative faubourgs (Brooklyn, Shoreditch, East Berlin, Mission District…), will come blow out the candles of a giant city cake: three days of festive delights, in Northeast Paris and around, in order to celebrate fifteen years of urban rebirth, deliciousness, and rejuvenated traditions… all of which will be revealed soon on lefooding.com.
